The search is on for a new athletic director at Triton Community School Corporation.
Triton School Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said Mason McIntyre submitted his resignation to the school board Monday night.
“It’ll be a tough spot to fill with the quality of person he is,” commented Riffle. “He has an opportunity to be the executive director of the Second Mile Mission which is an awesome organization and it’s definitely part of his passion. We’re excited for that opportunity for him. He has been the athletic director here for 14 years.”
The school board did accept his resignation.
The position will not be posted until the beginning of 2021.
