Plymouth School Board Members Approve Superintendent Emergency Actions

Plymouth Community School Superintendent Andy Hartley asked the Plymouth School Board members last week to approve prior emergency actions he took in light of the health pandemic.

Hartley explained that the students participated in eLearning days prior to the Thanksgiving break and his decision to switch to virtual learning.  He added that all of Marshall County’s schools have worked with the Marshall County Health Department to initiate a Fan Plan.

Hartley said, “Events that we have, at most, would have just immediate family only.  The number of those would be dependant on the event and the venue.  At our bigger events at the high school, it would be immediate family with no more than four.  We have some events where fans are just not going to be allowed because of the participant number have and the need to be able to space them out safely in those environments.”

Those actions were listed in a resolution and the board members approved that resolution with a unanimous vote.
