One More COVID-19 Death Reported in Marshall County

Another Marshall County resident died of COVID-19.  The county’s total number of COVID-19 deaths is now 66. 

The state saw 31 additional COVID-19 deaths from December 18 to December 20. 

Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health showed that 3,978 additional people in the state tested positive for COVID-19 which included 39 people from Marshall County, 22 people in Starke County and 15 people in Pulaski County.  The new test results cover a span of November 20 to December 20. 

The state’s school coronavirus dashboard shows 2,081 new student cases of COVID-19 in the state last week, 394 new teacher cases and 496 staff cases of COVID-19.  Culver Community Middle/High School reported seven new COVID-19 positive student cases while Plymouth High School had 14 new student cases.  Oregon-Davis, Argos, Triton Bremen, and West Central Schools did not have any new cases.  Many other area schools reported less than five new student, teacher or staff cases of COVID-19.
