Firefighters from multiple departments were called to Downtown Plymouth Saturday evening. Marshall County dispatchers say a maintenance person called in a fire at 201 North Michigan Street at around 5:15. It appears to have started in the attic.
A post on the Plymouth Fire Department Facebook page says smoke was showing when firefighters arrived, and at this point, they don’t know how it started. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Plymouth, LaPaz, Bremen, Argos, and Culver were eventually called to the scene. Firefighters were still there more than two hours after the fire was reported.
