Three more people have died from COVID-19 in Marshall County and one more person died of COVID-19 in Starke County, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Those deaths are a few of the state’s 164 new COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday that span from November 26 through December 28.
Over 500,000 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19 at some point since March. The Indiana Department of Health shared at 4,028 additional Indiana residents have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus since Monday’s report.
Marshall County had another seven positive COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 4,391, Starke County had another 12 positive cases for a new overall total of 1,537 and Pulaski County had four new cases for a new overall total of 828.
In a Facebook post, the Pulaski County Incident Management Team said the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine in the county is “close”, but team members asked community members to do what they can to slow the spread of the virus.
