Three more residents in Starke County have died from COVID-19 which occurred on December 16 and December 19, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. That same report shows another COVID-19 death in Pulaski County on December 20 and one more in Marshall County on December 12.
The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Starke County is up to 37, while Marshall County is up to 67 COVID-19 deaths and Pulaski County is up to 30.
The state reported 143 new COVID-19 deaths from November 10 to December 21.
There were 3,758 new positive COVID-19 cases in the state that span from November 20 to December 21. Marshall County had 18 new cases for a new overall total of 4,271, Starke County had eight new cases for a new overall total of 1,448 and Pulaski County had 15 new cases for an overall total of 774. The Indiana Department of Health is offering free COVID-19 testing in Starke County today (Tuesday, December 22) and tomorrow (Wednesday, December 23) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, December 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday, December 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT. at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox
