Officials at the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation welcome Laura Walls as its new President and CEO. She is already in her new role in Marshall County.
Walls comes from the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation in Delphi, Indiana and brings with her 15 years of economic development experience after 10 years there, and five years in Tippecanoe County. In Tippecanoe County, she worked for the City of Lafayette, she was the Main Street Manager for Downtown Lafayette-West Lafayette, and Economic Development Program Manager at Greater Lafayette Commerce.
According to the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, Walls was instrumental in leading Delphi to a Stellar Community designation in 2012.
Walls replaces Jerry Chavez who resigned in October.
