The Marshall County Health Department has opened a COVID-19 Response Call Center.
Health Department officials say the Call Center will be staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The operator can be reached at 574-935-8565, option 8.
The operator will be able to inform residents about area testing sites. Additionally, if seven days has passed and a resident has not gotten COVID-19 test results, the operator can assist them in getting those results.
Any complaints related to COVID-19 will be recorded by the operator and forwarded for further investigation.
The Call Center operator can help residents with food, housing, and other needs if they have been affected financially by COVID-19.
Marshall County Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger stated, “The COVID-19 Call Center will also allow the staff at the Health Department to function more efficiently.”
