Nearly 7,800 additional people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana, with 94 new cases in Marshall County, 38 new cases in Starke County and 18 new cases in Pulaski County, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Marshall County has a cumulative total of 3,565 COVID-19 cases, Starke County has 1,112 overall cases and Pulaski County has 535 new cases.
Another 78 people have died from COVID-19 in the state. No new deaths were reported in the tri-county area. A total of 5,910 Hoosiers have died since the pandemic began.
The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the state is at 3,255 which is on a downward trend.
To date, 2,292,178 unique individuals have been tested for COVID-19 in the state. A total of 4,525,760 tests, including repeat tests, have been reported to the Indiana Department of Health since late February.
