Officials from the Marshall County Solid Waste District are hosting their annual confidential paper shredding event on Saturday, December 5 form 8 a.m. to noon.
Marshall County residents and business and municipal officials may take confidential documents to the Recycle Depot for shredding. This is for confidential documents only. Trash, mail, cardboard, spiral or vinyl notebooks, magazine and newspapers will NOT be accepted.
Marshall County residents and municipal representatives may shred for free, while shredding for businesses is free up to 100 pounds. It will be a 15-cent-per-pound charge above 100 pounds.
Those attending will be asked to wait in vehicles and face coverings should be worn for the protection of staff and other patrons.
