The Bremen Town Council members opened bids for the North Center Street and Elm Road extension project Monday afternoon.
The project extends sewer and storm water utilities to an area where a manufacturer expanded a building. It would also allow service to other customers in the area.
Bids were opened from Rieth Riley Construction, Co.; Walsh and Kelly, Inc.; Beer and Slabaugh; Haskins Underground; and HRP Construction. The bids ranged from $893,700 from HRP Construction to Haskins Underground at $1,091,233.
The bids were taken under advisement. The lowest qualifying bid will be approved at the next meeting.
