The Argos School Board members learned this week that there will be no cuts to the 2021 budget.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said that was good news for the corporation.
“The bigger concern was what our enrollments would be because that has the biggest impact on it,” said Speicher. “The fact that we’re up some in enrollment, the 2021 budgets looks good at this stage to us.”
The school corporation adopted a total budget of $6,740,240 in October.
Speicher added that a review of the number of transfer students shows an increase of about 38 students to the corporation this school year.
