Three more people have died of COVID-19 in Marshall County, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
The COVID-19 deaths in Marshall County now total 65. Starke County’s total number of COVID-19 deaths remains at 34 and Pulaski County’s total number of COVID-19 deaths remains at 29.
There were 53 more deaths in the state from COVID-19 for a new overall total of 7,070.
The number of new cases continues to be lower in all three counties. Marshall County had 24 new cases in Sunday’s report while Starke County had 14 new COVID-19 cases and Pulaski County had 8.
The number of new COVID-19 cases in the state was just over 6,500 which is a sharp increase from Saturday’s report. The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the state since March is 464,354.
The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients remains unchanged at 2,932.
