Two communities have decided to cancel tree lighting ceremonies in order to keep residents as safe and healthy as possible.
Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the area, the holiday parade and tree lighting scheduled for Friday, December 4 in the Town of Culver are canceled.
Members of the Town of Bremen and the Bremen Chamber of Commerce have also canceled the Lighting of the Town event for this year.
However, the Town of Bourbon has a slightly different plan for this holiday season. The tree lighting and the arrival of Santa Claus will be live-streamed on the town’s Facebook Page. Residents may also line up in vehicles on Center Street for the event set for Saturday, November 28 at 6 p.m.
