The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where City Attorney Sean Surrisi is expected to lead a discussion on the COVID response plan.
The Plymouth City Building and other city government offices are closed to the public at this time. Patrons are encouraged to conduct business online, by appointment, or by email.
The board members will also be updated on various projects from department heads.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The council members will consider several documents related to the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation manufacturing center project, and REES Theater grant agreements.
A resolution will be considered that would confirm the adoption of a declaratory resolution designating certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for purposes of personal property tax abatement for AK Industries, Inc.
Other resolutions will be reviewed that concern the creation of new funds, and the transfer of appropriations.
A BIS quote will be up for further discussion, as is a proposed ordinance prohibiting parking in front yards. City Attorney Surrisi will also provide updates on the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative.
Both meetings will be held on the online Zoom platform. A link to that meeting and a phone number can be found below.
