The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will review the 2020 Pavement Asset Management Plan tonight with City Engineer Rick Gaul.
Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will update the board members on leaf pick-up and a complaint, and City Attorney Sean Surrisi will have a request concerning a street closure for Veterans Day. Other department heads will present updates as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight at 6 p.m. followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Two public hearings will be held tonight during the Plymouth City Council meeting concerning the increase in water utility rates and sewage works rates. Ordinances that would amend those rates will be considered following those public hearings
The city council will also consider an ordinance regarding the garbage fees, and a resolution declaring certain real estate to be with an Economic Revitalization Area for AK Industries, Inc.
More discussion will be held on a proposed ordinance prohibiting parking in front yards, and an updated BIS quote for technology upgrades. An update on projects within the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative will also be provided during tonight’s meeting.
Both the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth City Council meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those attending the meetings should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
