Over 60 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported in Marshall County

Another 64 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Marshall County driving the total number of cases to 2,024 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health also showed an increase of 12 positive COVID-19 cases in Starke County for an overall total of 640 and nine new cases in Pulaski County for new total there of 261. 

Marshall County’s positivity rate is at 24.6 percent, Starke County’s rate is at 20.1 percent and Pulaski County’s rate is at 13.3 percent. 

An additional 4,213 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and 34 more people have died from the virus since Sunday’s report.   

The school’s dashboard information listed on the state’s coronavirus website at www.coronavirus.in.gov shows that there were 1,572 new student positive cases in the state last week, 319 new teacher positive cases and 380 new staff positive cases.
