Another person has died of COVID-19 in Starke County, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
The number of people who have died of COVID-19 in Starke County now totals 20. Marshall County has reported a total of 39 COVID-19 deaths and Pulaski County has reported 10 COVID-19 deaths since March.
The State’s coronavirus website on Friday shows 63 additional COVID-19 deaths in Indiana that occurred between November 8 and November 19.
Additionally, the state reported 6,912 new cases of COVID-19 in the state. Marshall County had 64 of those positive cases, Starke County had 26 cases and Pulaski County had 8.
The number of hospitalizations continues to increase, with 3,077 COVID-19 patients in Indiana hospitals, as of Thursday.
The seven-day positivity rate in unique individuals in Marshall County is up to 34.2 percent. It is 20.4 percent in Starke County and 20 percent in Pulaski County.
