Governor Eric Holcomb and First Lady Janet Holcomb tested negative for COVID-19.
According to the Governor’s Office, they both received an Abbott rapid test and PCR test and both produced negative results. They are currently not experiencing any symptoms.
Governor Holcomb and First Lady Janet Holcomb have been quarantining since Tuesday after being determined as close contacts to members of their security detail who tested positive for COVID-19.
The Governor and First Lady will continue to quarantine and only be tested again if they develop symptoms, as advised by Indiana Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lindsay Weaver.
They will resume a normal schedule on December 1 and remind residents to use a mask and keep a social distance.
