Four more people have died of COVID-19 in Marshall County, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. That same report listed one additional COVID-19 death in Starke County.
State health officials said those residents are among 84 residents in the state who have died of COVID-19 as listed on Tuesday’s coronavirus dashboard. A total of 4,770 people in the state have died of the novel coronavirus since mid-March.
Another 59 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Marshall County driving the overall total number of cases to 2,558, 17 people in Starke County tested positive raising the total number of cases to 788, and Pulaski County had one more positive case for a new overall total of 327.
Many of the people who have tested positive have recovered from the virus while a percentage of patients are actively fighting the virus.
