Five people were sent to the hospital following a head-on crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Plymouth.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, the driver of a vehicle was driving west on Lake Avenue (State Road 17) around 4 p.m. in Plymouth when her front seat passenger adjusted the climate controls. The driver, 30-year-old Alyssia Zolman, of Plymouth, looked the vehicle’s climate controls to readjust them and missed the curve in the road west of Plum Street. As a result, police say the driver traveled left of center and crashed head-on into a vehicle traveling east driven by 23-year-old Colin Oconnor, of Cape Coral, Florida.
