Bourbon Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Bourbon Town Council members will welcome new council member Terry Clemens to his first meeting tonight. 

The council will hold a public hearing tonight on the proposed wastewater project that is proposed through the Regional Development Plan in the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative.

Additionally, Clerk-Treasurer Kimberly Berger will present a public health and safety payroll costs ordinance and an explanation of utility bills.  Chief of Police Bill Martin will ask to amend the salary ordinance to increase part-time pay to $20 an hour and Street Superintendent Roger Terry will present the pavement asset management plan as prepared by JPR. 

Town Attorney Alex Hoover will present the access of public records ordinance and the council will consider raising the golf cart fee to $20.  The council members will also discuss the town’s LED sign. 

The Bourbon Town Council members will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the Bourbon Town Hall at 104 East Park Avenue.
