The proposed renovations outlined at North Liberty Elementary School and Walkerton Elementary School will be put out to bid in December.
John Glenn School Superintendent Christopher Winchell said the Barton Coe Vilamaa representatives gave the school board members that update last week.
The renovations would include new HVAC units and controls, exhaust fans, new LED ballasts and lighting, electrical panels, exterior windows, occupancy controls which helps regulate energy costs, roofing, and a secured entry. New windows at the Walkerton Elementary School would also be included in the scope of this project.
