The Argos School Board members approved the distribution of Teacher Appreciation Grants during their meeting last week.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said the grants are given to teachers based on evaluations.
“The State has notified us of our Teacher Appreciation Grant, the extra payment to our teachers,” explained Speicher. “It’s $567 for our teachers that were rated effective last year for each teacher, and $595.35 for teachers rated highly effective.”
That grant money is expected to be distributed on December 3.
