Two Marshall County Schools Report COVID-19 Cases

Two Marshall County Schools have reported COVID-19 cases.

Officials at Bremen Public Schools announced on Facebook on Tuesday that a second grade teacher tested positive for COVID-19.  All students in that particular classroom will need to quarantine for 14 days as a matter of caution.

Officials hope that the proper use of masks in the school buildings will help slow the spread of COVID-19.

The school corporation will take any other steps as recommended by the Marshall County Health Department.

Meanwhile, four different cases of COVID-19 were reported at the John Glenn School Corporation on Monday. Superintendent Christopher Winchell told MAX 98.3 FM news that contact tracing was conducted and affected people were notified.  Winchell said protocols were followed based on the recommendation of the Marshall County Health Department and the corporation’s COVID-19 response plans.
