The second person in a week has died from COVID-19 in Pulaski County and another 15 people there have been diagnosed with the virus, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Pulaski County officials issued a notice on Friday that residents should remain vigilant in protecting themselves and help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The same message has been delivered by Starke County and Marshall County health officials. An additional five cases of COVID-19 were reported in Starke County and Marshall County had another 25 positive cases reported Sunday.
The seven-day positivity rate in Pulaski County has increased to 11.1 percent in unique individuals, while Starke County’s positivity rate is 14.2 percent and Marshall County’s rate is at 15.4 percent.
Statewide, 2,175 more people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and another 12 people have died from the virus.
