The Pioneer Drive project in Plymouth will enter into the second phase of construction on Wednesday, October 14 at 7 a.m. At that time, Pioneer Drive from Commerce Street to 7B Road will close until November 13, weather permitting.
Pioneer Drive is remains open to local traffic from Gary Drive to Commerce Street as Walsh and Kelly crews continue work there.
Detour routes will be posted during the road closures.
The purpose of the project is to widen a portion of Pioneer Drive in Plymouth to three lanes to accommodate an increase in truck traffic in that area north of U.S. 30 to 7B Road.
