The last chance for voters to submit an application to request a mail-in ballot is Thursday, October 22.
Call the County Clerk’s office for information on how to submit a ballot application, or complete an application online at www.indianavoters.com. Electronic applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 22.
Thousands of absentee by mail ballots have been mailed to voters in Marshall, Starke and Pulaski Counties and Election Board members are working to make sure there are enough people, even numbers of both Democrats and Republicans, to work to make sure all ballots are counted on Election Day. Results may be slow to report on Election night as the number of absentee mail-in ballots far surpasses any total number of such ballots in past elections.
