Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Marshall County, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Another 23 people in Marshall County have been diagnosed with COVID-19, pushing the seven-day positivity rate of unique individuals to 16.6 percent. Starke County had another six cases of COVID-19 creating a seven-day positivity rate to 14.6 percent, and Pulaski County had another five cases of COVID-19 for a seven-day positivity rate of 8 percent.
There were 2,009 more people in the state that tested positive for COVID-19 which brings the overall total to 164,581.
On the Indiana Department of Health’s dashboard, of the schools reporting, there were 639 new positive student cases reported last week, 135 new positive teacher COVID-19 cases, and 141 new positive staff cases.
