A Kendallville man was arrested Sunday, October 11 after an investigation into an alleged stabbing incident in the 11,800 block of Upas Road in Plymouth.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a call of a stabbing just after midnight. They reportedly found a man with a wound to his abdomen and he was transported to the Plymouth hospital by EMS. Police say he was later transported to a hospital in South Bend for further treatment and later released.
The suspect, 50-year-old Troy Antonides, was at the scene, according to the report. Following an investigation, Antonides was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of battery committed with a deadly weapon. He has since bonded out of the jail with a $1,505 cash bond.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
