The John Glenn School Board will hold a public hearing on the 2021 budget when they meet tonight.
The school board will also hold a lease and additional appropriation public hearing and then resolutions on those items will be considered for approval following that hearing. The board will also look assigning construction bids and contracts to the building corporation and other paperwork related to upcoming construction projects.
Other items that the board members will consider include a resolution to transfer amounts from the Education Fund to the Operations Fund, a key fob door security upgrade with Vermillion Systems, and approve a vendor relationship with Good Oil Company.
The building principals will also provide updates at all of the buildings, and Superintendent Christopher Winchell will update the board on items within the corporation. The John Glenn School Board will meet at 7 p.m. ET tonight in the John Glenn Administration Building on the John Glenn High School campus at 101 John Glenn Drive in Walkerton. A Building Corporation meeting is set for 6 p.m. ET in the Administration Building.
