The National Weather Service is urging residents not to burn outdoors. The Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded to a Red Flag Warning.
Low humidity and breezy conditions could make for dangerous fire weather conditions. Grass and field fires can spread quickly and grow out of control.
The Red Flag Warning remains in effect for Northern Indiana until 8:00 p.m. EDT / 7:00 p.m. CDT.
