Culver Town Council members continue to work on the next phases of the Lake Max trail.
Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist said officials with RW South recently sent letters to 10 property owners along Davis and South Main Streets that address a possibility of purchasing right-of-way property for the second phase of the project through the town’s Stellar Communities Designation. The second phase of the trail goes down Washington Street, Plymouth Street and South Main Street.
The third phase of the trail is in the plans in the Marshall County Regional Stellar Communities Initiative. It is expected to tie together the Culver Community Elementary School, Sandhill Farms, the West Jefferson streetscape trail, and the second phase of the Lake Max Trail. They are both scheduled to start construction in 2021.
