Bremen Public School Superintendent Dr. Jim White updated community members on Wednesday about COVID-19 cases at the school.
According to Dr White’s notice on Facebook, two high school instructors are quarantining due to contact tracing, and one middle school student tested positive that resulted in two teachers and 13 students having to quarantine as close contacts.
Additionally, a community member affiliated with the Distinguished Young Women contest tested positive and officials are attempting to identify close contacts.
Dr. White stressed that the school corporation is working with the Marshall County Health Department on the matter. He noted there is not a current need to close the school.
