Another person in Starke County has died of COVID-19, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Eight people have now died of COVID-19 in Starke County. Sixteen more cases of COVID-19 were reported in the county for a new overall total of 432.
An additional 26 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Marshall County for a new overall total of 1,427 and there were four more people in Pulaski County diagnosed with COVID-19 to raise the overall total to 160.
The Indiana Department of Health announced that 2,765 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and another 24 people have died from the novel coronavirus.
Local health officials ask residents to wear a mask when out in public, wash hands frequently throughout the day with soap and water for 20 seconds at a time, use hand sanitizer, and observe a social distance.
