Two More Starke County Residents Test Positive for COVID-19

Two more Starke County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the county’s total up to 212, according to Tuesday’s update from the Indiana State Department of Health. The state has calculated Starke County’s seven-day positivity rate at 5.2 percent for all tests but 11.5 percent when limited to unique individuals.

Marshall County also reported one new case, but after revisions, the total remains at 895. Almost 95,000 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, with 721 new cases reported Tuesday. Another 16 have died while positive for COVID-19, bringing the state’s total up to 3,093.
