The Plymouth Police Department was notified of a disturbance on Friday, September 25 in the access road south of Aldi’s in Plymouth which resulted in the arrest of a Culver man.
The Plymouth officer arrived at the scene shortly after 7 p.m. and reportedly found that one party left the scene.
The officer found 25-year-old Evan Gardner of Culver and a woman causing a disturbance in the road, according to the report. An investigation led to the arrest of Gardner on preliminary charges of dealing in a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
The report went on to say that an officer found the vehicle that left the scene of the prior domestic disturbance parked at the Plymouth Public Library. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Dakota Stone, of Akron, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Fulton County.
Gardner has since bonded out of the Marshall County Jail on a $1,505 cash bond and Stone was transferred to another facility.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
