State Road 106 in Bremen is getting a facelift from State Road 6 west to State Road 6 east through town.
Walsh and Kelly crews recently finished milling the road and moved to paving operations, in addition to removing curbing in the downtown area, according to officials from INDOT.
Storm drainage structures are being installed in the downtown area and Haskins Underground crews are currently working on the water/sewer laterals, water main tie-ins at Montgomery and Washington Streets, and installing four manholes.
The Town of Bremen will also be replacing sidewalks and curbs, and installing new lighting and beautification efforts as part of a downtown revitalization project. That is expected to be done at the end of November.
