Railroad Crossing to Close for Repairs in Plymouth

The east/west railroad crossing on Oak Road just south of Jefferson Street around the Dairy Queen in Plymouth will be closed beginning Friday, Sept. 18.

Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night the detour will take traffic down to Center Street to Lake Street back to Oak Road/State Road 17, and vice versa, although local traffic can utilize whatever detour works best.

The road will reopen after Tuesday, Sept. 22.
