The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will get an update on the bid award for an unsafe structure at 701 W. Lake Ave. when they meet tonight.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a change order for the 2019 street and sidewalks Community Crossings Matching Grant projects and board members will hear from other department heads on projects in the city.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The City Council members will consider an ordinance regarding various cemetery matters on second and third reading. They will also consider an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates on second and third reading.
Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver will ask to hire a full-time employee to stay at full staff, and more donations will need approval for the Safe Haven Baby Box.
The council members will review information in a resolution that would declare certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for Jingu North American Corporation, and a resolution that provides the transfer of appropriations in the Cemetery Fund. A Planned Unit Development certified proposal for the Centennial Crossings project is also up for approval.
The Plymouth City Council members plan to continue discussions on a proposed ordinance prohibiting parking in front yards, and a proposed Human Resources position. Updates will be given on the Marshall County Regional Stellar Communities Initiative and the Insurance Committee.
Both meetings will be held in the City Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Residents planning to attend the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
