Two Northern Indiana Food Bank mobile food distribution sites have been set up in Marshall County for those in need of food assistance.
Fresh perishable items will be available free of charge and all items will be pre-boxed and pre-bagged.
Food Bank representatives will be at Triton Junior/Senior High School at 300 Triton Drive in Bourbon on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon ET. They will be back in Marshall County on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon ET at Centennial Park at 1660 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth at the pool parking lot.
Items will be distributed to one household on a first come, first served basis up to 400 households while supplies last.
These distribution points will offer a drive-thru collection. Officials ask that residents remain in the vehicle with the vehicle’s trunk open to receive items. An area will be available to load items if the trunk does not open.
