The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County and in Pulaski County increased slightly, according to Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Four more cases were reported in Marshall County which brings that overall total to 938 and Pulaski County reported one additional case which brings that overall total to 105. Starke County remained at 218 overall COVID-19 cases.
Patients are in varying stages of fighting the virus and recovering from the virus.
No new deaths were reported locally.
Another 720 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19. A total of 101,485 Hoosiers are known to have the novel coronavirus. A total of 3,173 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 17 from Tuesday’s report.
To date, 1,158,018 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,150,863 on Tuesday. A total of 1,572,960 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
