Election officials are preparing the absentee mail-in ballot envelopes to send to voters who have requested an absentee ballot.
Marshall County Voter Registration Deputy Melinda Keilman commented Wednesday morning that 511 online application requests have been received and 858 mail applications were received.
Clerk Deb VanDeMark said that six Democrats and six Republican workers have worked together preparing several hundred envelopes so far with ballots to be mailed out by Saturday.
Absentee voting by mail applications may be submitted to the clerk’s office by Oct. 22.
