Items of memorabilia from the old Triton gym are being collected to be part of an auction on Saturday, October 3 at 10 a.m.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said the community will be able to bid on a piece of Triton history prior to the building’s demolition in October. Workers will be compiling salvageable items from the old gym including a brick or a small piece of the gym floor, if possible.
Ball Auction will be conducting the auction and the list of items will be advertised as well as more specific information as the date grows closer.
Riffle said the demolition of the building is anticipated to take place during fall break which is October 19-23.
