Walsh and Kelly crews are continuing work on the paving project on State Road 106 through Bremen.
Topsoil and sod has been put into place for the new traffic pattern at the intersection of State Road 106 and State Road 331, according to INDOT representatives. Main line milling of State Road 106 should be underway with the removal of the curb in the downtown area.
The entire length of State Road 106 is getting a new surface from U.S. 6 West to U.S. 6 East.
Haskins Underground is working on the water and sewer laterals from Jackson Street to Center Street.
When all of that work is done in mid-to-late September, new sidewalks, curbs, lighting, and other beautification efforts will begin in the downtown area as part of the downtown revitalization project.
