The Triton School Board members approved the services of Ball Auction to conduct a sale of surplus items from the old gymnasium.
The date of the auction has not yet been set but it is anticipated to take place in late September or early October. The demolition of the structure is scheduled for the week of Oct. 19.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle told the school board members that there may be a time when residents could take a brick or a small piece of the gym floor, if possible, as the demolition process gets underway.
