Another 850 Indiana residents have tested positive for the novel coronavirus which brings the cumulative total of cases in the state to 81,847.
The state reported 28 additional Hoosiers who have died from COVID-19 which increases that total to 2,954. None of those deaths occurred locally.
The Marshall County COVID-19 case count remained at 814 from Monday’s report. After further investigation, Starke County’s case count was adjusted to reflect 184 positive cases and Pulaski County’s total case number increased to 87.
Patients are in varying stages of recovering from the virus and actively fighting the virus. A total of 31 people have died of COVID-19 in the tri-county area.
