The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will consider several requests when they meet tonight.
They will entertain requests from the Plymouth Elks Club and from Centier Bank. A request for the placement of a goose crossing sign and a hearing impaired child will also be considered.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will also provide an update on the 2020 street and sidewalk projects and the Pioneer Drive reconstruction project. Department heads will also have reports.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The Plymouth City Council will open a public hearing concerning the renovation of the REES Theater building for use as a community center under a federally funded Community Development Block Grant project.
An ordinance that would amend the city code provisions concerning the Plymouth Community Ambulance Services will be presented on first reading.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi is also expected to have an update on efforts by the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative on upcoming projects.
Both meetings will be held in the council chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
