A reckless driver was arrested early Saturday morning in Marshall County.
According to a report from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, a call was received about a suspected impaired driver in the area of U.S. 31 and 11th Road. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop after they say they observed erratic driving.
Police say the driver, 21-year-old Joshua Miller, of Middlebury, was under the influence of controlled substances. Additionally, the officers reportedly saw suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Miller was transported to the Plymouth hospital for a chemical test and then taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
