Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Responds to Two Accidents at Same Intersection Monday Night

Two separate accidents were investigated Monday night at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Queen Road in Marshall County.

The first accident occurred at 7:40 p.m. when police say witnesses observed a semi tractor-trailer, driven by Miron Kadyrov of Brooklyn, New York, stopped at a red light headed eastbound when a another semi tractor-trailer, driven by Francesca Williams of Horn Lake, Mississippi, rear-ended the stopped semi.  Only minor injuries were reported to police and EMS officials at the scene, according to the report.

As deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department were still on the scene investigating the initial accident, another accident occurred two-and-a-half hours later in the westbound lanes at U.S. 30 and Queen Road.  Police say Christian Warner of La Porte was on his motorcycle stopped at the red light when Brandi McCroskey of Rochester rear-ended the motorcycle in her Ford Escape.  Warner was transported to the hospital for unknown injuries.

Plymouth Fire and EMS and the Plymouth Police Department assisted at the scene.
